Position Purpose:

The Manager, A/R Technology position is accountable for set up and maintenance of our A/R department systems. This individual is engaged primarily in the customer and system configuration in our main frame systems as well as GetPaid, OpenScan, Telephony and other department software applications. The Manager, A/R Technology works closely with the Credit/Collection Management team and IT to maintain the system configuration and/or implement changes to system and customer setup across all functions of the department.

The Manager, A/R Technology works under the direction of the Director of Credit and Collections to develop and implement plans for the Department to meet the overall Company and Department strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:
* Formulates and defines scope and objectives for new or modified application/setup and system based on user needs, and leads systems analysis, design, development and implementation efforts.
* Participate in analysis of application requirements, the development of detailed project specifications, and the development, testing, and implementation of major business applications.
* Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity of systems and key processes, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs.
* Provide support per request from various groups and users
* Investigate and troubleshoot issues.
* Provide day-to-day technology support and general systems management.
* Propose and implement system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the systems and software.
* Coordinate system planning, upgrading, monitoring, testing and servicing.
* Work with IT Department on application development and troubleshooting.
* Work with IT support (Info) on system issues.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:
25%- Formulates and defines scope and objectives for new or modified application/setup and system based on user needs, and leads systems analysis, design, development and implementation efforts.

Nature and Scope: Reports to the Director of Corporate Credit and Collections. Has no direct reports. Environment: 1. Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Travel: 1. Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.Standard Minimum Qualifications: Must be eighteen years of age or older. Must pass the Drug Test.
Additional Minimum Qualifications: Education Required: 5. The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Physical Requirements: 1. Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Additional Qualifications:
Demonstrable experience in managing system applications B2B Collections and Credit - Risk Management experience
Strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree (MBA) preferred
SQL
Preferred experience with collection and/or contact management software
