Job Description:

The Security Systems Administrator (SSA) is responsible for administering the client’s security systems, including regular maintenance, new user setup, current user support, and troubleshooting. The SSA will also work to optimize systems use and provide user training. The SSA will oversee systems suppliers and vendors in regards to systems maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation. The SSA will also continually review new technologies and make recommendations as appropriate.

The SSA must be passionate about technology, data, and user experience. The SSA must possess strong interpersonal skills and must demonstrate excellent communication skills. The SSA works under the direct supervision of the AlliedBarton Account Manager and works closely with client representatives.

General Responsibilities

• Ensure all client security systems are fully functional, including but not limited to: access control system, video management system, radio dispatching system, cameras, card readers, etc.
• Troubleshoot any system malfunction
• Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance schedule for all systems
• Conduct basic systems maintenance
• Coordinate maintenance and troubleshooting by the systems vendor
• Develop best practices and training materials for systems use that maximize utilization
• Evaluate, beta test, and recommend new technologies
• Work closely with AlliedBarton and client management to ensure the strategy and vision for systems use is executed
• Develop and use meaningful metrics to evaluate system performance and user interaction
• Actively seek out opportunities for continuous improvement
• Maintain confidentiality of all information and data
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned or required
• Complete all mandatory client training including, but not limited to: EHS, GMP/GxP, HAZMAT response, or other training that may be required by government regulation or customary in the industry

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of networks and server setup/maintenance.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Highly desirable experience with access control systems, video management systems, as well as other common security systems.
• Highly desirable CCURE administrator experience.
• Thorough knowledge and experience with data analysis and use of quality tools.
• Demonstrable time management skills
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with the ability to work independently.
• Experience managing multiple priorities, complex situations and client requirements on an ongoing basis
• Experience interacting professionally with internal and external customers while working towards accomplishing common goals
