Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Atrium Hospitality. The franchisee controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including the selection and hiring process. If you accept a position at this hotel you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International.

The Assistant General Manage of Rooms acts as the assistant to the General Manager in managing the hotel's operations, maintaining established revenue, cost and quality standards. Directly oversees the Front Office and Housekeeping areas of the hotel. Oversees the day to day operation as delegated by the General Manager. Participates in the development of short term and long term financial and operational plans for the hotel. Ensures GSS is in line with Brand Standards. Ensures that departments are in line with Brand Standards. Ensures that guest issues are handled promptly and correctly. Stays on top with business trends and community involvement. Involved in the selection process of new associates, training and development, performance review process and corrective action process. Maintains compliance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations. Knows and complies with all company policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:

  • Have the ability to read and interpret business records. Have the ability to use mathematical skills to interpret financial information and prepare budgets. The ability to make business decisions based on production reports, previous experience and/or personal experience. Have good customer service skills, Must have good communication skills. Have the ability to delegate when necessary.


Education requirements:

  • Four year degree in Hotel or Business Management. A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in operations.
