Built in 1886 as a showpiece for Cattle Baron, Jesse Driskill, the Driskill is a legend in Texas hospitality. The hotel is known throughout Austin for its elite level of service and luxurious accommodations.

In Room Dining Attendants are cross-trained to handle shifts as Servers and shifts as Cashier/Order Takers. The In Room Dining Attendants are responsible for presenting guest food and beverage preferences timely and to temperature. Attendants engage in conversation and enhance the guest experience by their style and service attributes. Attendants are responsible for recording guest food and/or beverage orders and offering menu suggestions.

This position also processes forms of payment for goods and services to include room charges, credit card and cash. Our In Room Dining Attendants are a vital point of contact for the experience and have the ability to ensure guest satisfaction. Other duties include general in room dining preparation, removal of serving trays, and maintaining a sanitary environment.

Please note that as an In Room Dining Attendant, associates are cross-trained to handle two different roles that do require a pay rate difference, since one position is tipped and one is not. It is not guaranteed how many shifts one will receive of what role.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
