As the Senior Health Care Economics Analyst, you will design and develop reports and analyze data to measure clinical outcomes, network performance and methodology levers. You will investigate key business problems through quantitative analyses of utilization and health care costs data. Along with your team, you will identify potential areas for medical cost improvements and alternative pricing strategies. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create experience tracking reports at various levels of detail, including rate-cell / regional reporting consistent with revenue reimbursement for all FL C&S products

  • Report to Market and Regional leaders on an on-going basis including quarterly holistic trend reviews and monthly dives into identified areas of concern

  • Partner with regional and local UHN leaders to develop and drive Network strategies, including supporting VBC target identification, contract development support, and ad hoc reporting / evaluation support for non-standard deals

  • Partner with Affordability teams to identify, size and drive affordability opportunities

  • Collaborate with Pricing teams on rate advocacy support

  • Work with Shared Services Teams to improve data assets

 


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • At least an intermediate level of proficiency working with MS Excel including formulas, calculations, charts, graphs, etc.

  • Basic level of proficiency with Access

  • Intermediate level of proficiency in performing data analytics

  • Ability to quickly learn and use computer software tools effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of work experience in a corporate setting

  • Health care experience
