The Opportunity

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities:

·       Supervise and coordinate all operational duties in the store.

·       Wear provided uniform (including a name tag and shirt) in neat and clean condition at all times, with black or navy dress pants and safe footwear (no open toe, heel, clog, or sandals).

·       Demonstrate and reinforce proper work procedures and standards, especially Guest Path Service Standards.

·       Conduct “One-Minute Observations” to coach retail cashiers and employees on proper work procedures and standards, especially Guest Path Standards.

·       Analyze and resolve concerns with employees and guests, referring the issues to management as necessary.

·       Place and receive orders to ensure the store is fully-stocked at all times.

·       Maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the store at all times.

·       Assist the management in the training and continued development of retail staff.

·       Assist managers with physical inventories.

·       Make recommendations for improving service, efficiency, or product assortment to retail management.

·       Ensure all labor and financial standards are observed and maintained.

·       Ensure the efficient and thorough completion of all projects.

·       Attend and actively participate in team meetings.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

·       Minimum of one year of experience in hospitality, retail, finance, or a related experience with money-handling and customer service responsibilities. One year of hospitality, business, or related coursework can substitute for work experience.

·       Motivated, enthusiastic, cheerful, and friendly with guests and coworkers.

·       Comfortable working long hours in a fast-paced environment.

·       Capable of following and maintaining all instructions, standards, and procedures from management.

·       Demonstrates initiative and intelligence to ensure exceptional customer service and store operation.

·       Able to stand for long hours, with bending, lifting, reaching, and stretching.

·       Able to lift 20lbs or more.

·       Must have reliable transportation to Niagara Falls State Park.

 

Availability:

·       Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as directed.
