Delivers the highest quality customer service to all members and guests by providing prompt and courteous customer service. Mixes and serves alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks to club members and guests. Upholds the fulfillment of Life Time mission statement and brand.
Responsibilities
* Takes orders from customers and servers
* Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks; adds appropriate garnish, places on tray, and serves to patrons with cocktail napkins
* Stayed informed of drink trends and explores new recipes
* Serves wine and draught or bottled beer
* Computes bill and accepts payment
* Removes empty or dirty glasses and bottles and returns them to the bar or kitchen
* Maintains supplies by re-stocking liquors, wines, beer, and non-alcoholic ingredients and replacing beer barrels
* Requests identification from customers when legal age is questioned
* Maintains safe, secure, and healthy bar and patrons by following and enforcing standards and procedures; judging when customers have consumed too much alcohol; calling for alternate transportation; complying with legal regulations
* Cleans bar surface, furniture and equipment behind the bar
* Notifies Beverage Manager when liquors, wines and other supplies are low
* Reconciles the bar's cash register at the end of the shift
* Education:
None required
* Experience:
Three years bartending experience
Experience with inventory and ordering preferred
* Licenses / Certifications / Registration:
Must be at least 18 years of age to serve alcohol
