PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:

The Supervisor of Maintenance supervises maintenance and sanitation associates to maintain the facility and plant equipment in a ready-to-work state and plans necessary improvement as needed for the facility.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Oversee all building and equipment repair.

2. Monitor and maintain electrical, sprinkler, conveyor, and HVAC systems.

3. Ensure all OSHA regulations are met.

4. Ensure all Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), and Allergen regulations are met.

5. Prepare Maintenance Expense and Capital Expenditure budgets.

6. Complete maintenance and capital expenditure projects on a timely basis.

7. Establish and implement environmental development plan.

8. Schedule and monitor preventative maintenance programs.

9. Supervise maintenance and sanitation personnel.

10. Oversee office remodeling, cleaning and repairs.

11. Ensure that grounds are kept up with regard to site clean-up, road repair and snow removal.

12. Maintain rack changes, repair, and replacement.

13. Maintain conveyor preventive maintenance, repair, and upgrades.

14. Monitor and maintain consignment of equipment parts.

15. Oversee national account program on maintenance related equipment.

16. Meet all sanitation and food safety requirements as to maintain an audit "Excellent" rating.

17. Assist staff in day to day operations and direction of warehouse and clerical associates.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

2 years of prior maintenance experience; Associate's Degree in related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
