Mentor, OH Company has an immediate opening for a Temporary Human Resource Coordinator to assist Human Resource Management on a daily basis to ensure all customer requests are taken care of in a timely and confidential manner. Candidate will provide HR supports to employees and managers in the Healthcare and Life Sciences business groups.

 

Hours are M-F, 8-5; salary is $16-20 an hour.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

Human Resources Reporting/Administration/HRIS: 70%

 

                     Responsible for 100% data accuracy of assigned groups.

                     Prepare and accurately input data for all employee changes.

                     Support and perform employee data audits in the HR system (SuccessFactors experience strongly preferred, Oracle HRIS and Workday acceptable).

                     Provide HRIS reports and analysis as needed.

                     Perform all data entry into the Human Resources database.

 

Staffing/On-Boarding Support: 15%

 

Provide support for recruiting process:

 

                     Assist with creation of Positions and requisitions into recruiting system

                     Set up background checks

                     Prepare transfer and promotion letters

                     Process all new hire paperwork, including data entry into HR Information System

 

Submit payroll change requests as needed, ensuring deadlines are met: 10%

 

                     Ensure payroll is handled appropriately during employee separations; ensure compliance with state & local laws.

                     Advise managers on final check handling & ensure final timesheet payout is compliant with STERIS PTO, overtime, & other policies.

 

Miscellaneous Team Support: 5%

 

                     Provide miscellaneous administrative support to the Human Resources department. May include: filing, typing, copying, coordinating meetings, open/distribute mail, process check requests/purchase orders, etc.

                     Answer questions from employees in corporate areas.

 

Experience Requirements:

 

                     3+ years of HR administration experience, with high focus on HR data entry into system of record and maintaining accurate HR data.

                     SuccessFactor's experience strongly preferred; Oracle HRIS and Workday acceptable substitutes.

                     Bachelors preferred, Associates required.
