Nursing Assistant

DEPAUL MEDICAL CENTER POSITION SUMMARY The nursing assistant is responsible for assisting with patient care activities under the supervision of a licensed provider, including transportation, lifting, positioning, department spaces, restocking and maintaining sufficient supplies. Ability to apply common sense to carry out written and oral instructions. All employees, if applicable, are expected to adhere to the BSHR Automobile Safety Program per policy. JOB REQUIREMENTS 1. High school graduate or GED preferred. BCLS certification required for TCC. 2. Provides ADL assistance to patients 3. Provides positioning assistance to patients 4. Follows patient's care plan and completes documentation accurately and in a timely manner. 5. Provides meals and nutritional supplements to patients. 6. Follows infection control guidelines
