Position Description
Current opportunities are for First Shift, Full Time, Temp-to Hire position(s), paying $11.00 per hour. This position has the potential for permanent full-time employment with pay increase and benefits pending the ability to successfully meet attendance and performance goals throughout the first 90 days. All permanent job offers are contingent upon drug screen and background check.
StopStick, Ltd. is the manufacturer and distributer of the world's leading tire-deflation device for high speed pursuits. We are looking for Production Associates who are energetic and versatile self-starters. Mechanical aptitude, computer skills, and prior experience in manufacturing and production are a plus. Production Associates manufacture STOP STICK and related product subassemblies and fully assembled products in accordance with established production goals, safety, and quality standards. Job duties may vary daily.
Standards of Performance
- Ability to cross-train on as many tasks as deemed necessary (i.e. cutting room, stapling, shipping computer, etc.) in order to limit production disruptions.
- Communicates with peers and supervisors in a professional manner.
- Willing to accept suggestions, guidelines and constructive criticism from peers and supervisors.
- Ability to successfully follow Standards of Performance that are established on a daily basis.
- Willingness to accept a diversified role. You may be asked to perform different jobs on a daily basis.
- Ability to meet punctuality and attendance standards
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Technical School or college experience preferred
Preferred Skills/Experience
- 1-2 years general production experience
- Quality Control, Inventory Control, Computer experience
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Physical Requirements:
- Requires long periods of sitting and/or standing
- Requires walking and climbing ladders
- Requires manual dexterity and the ability to use hands for long periods of time
