Professional Sports Catering with the New Hampshire Fisher Cats are looking for friendly smiling faces to join the Food and Beverage team for the 2017 season. Multiple positions are available to make the baseball stadium your office this summer.

All positions are hourly, amount depending on experience and position. Most positions include tips.

Bartender

Under the general supervision of the Concessions or Catering Manager, bartenders provide positively outrageous guest service to patrons at the suite level bar and Sam Adams Bar during all events at the facility.  They will assist with bar set-up, inventory management, and bar cleanup at the conclusion of the event.  As one of the front-line guest service employees, bartenders must be professional, helpful, and enthusiastic to excel at this job.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Operation of the cash register and handling money in a prompt and efficient manner
  • Follow policies and procedures set forth by PSC, as well as, local liquor laws
  • Take pride as a bartender, greet guests, resolve issues and answer guest questions and use a warm, thankful goodbye

Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Excellent guest service skills and communication skills
  • Ability to properly prepare beverages by set standard
  • Ability to perform assigned tasks promptly and with minimal supervision

Qualifications:

The cook should understand the proper cooking and holding procedures to not sacrifice quality or freshness of product.

  • Operations of standard kitchen utensil and equipment in the concession stands in a prompt and efficient manner
  • Understand and follow guidelines set by the PSC and Health Department by maintaining a clean and sanitary work area

Stand Manager

Under the general supervision of the Concessions Manager, Stand Managers are responsible for managing the food, employees, and proper sanitation of their areas. The manager is responsible for the safety of all guests, employees, and food.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Manage the employees in their areas- cashiers, cooks, runners, and portable operators. These may be a combination of hourly and non-profit volunteers
  • In order to properly manage their staff, the manager must understand how to do each job under their management
  • Responsible for coordinating with the Concessions Supervisor or Manager on specific needs for that game or event- food, stock, equipment, volume levels, etc.
  • Follow policies and procedures set forth by PSC, as well as, guidelines set by the Health Department
  • Take pride in being a manager, you have a great responsibility to develop your staff, manage a location, greet guests, resolve issues and answer guest questions

Knowledge and Abilities:

Warehouse

Under the general supervision of the warehouse manager and concessions manager, the warehouse staff is responsible for stocking each location based off of predetermined needs list. Also, the staff is responsible for any necessary restocking of product during the events.

  • During the events, anticipate any potential stock needs by communicating with the portable operators and stand managers
