UTC Aerospace Systems- Sensors and Integrated Systems, a leader in the design and manufacturing of sensor and precision instrumentation for commercial, military, and business and regional jet aircraft worldwide has an opening for a Manufacturing Engineering Intern
The interns will be Responsible for completion of a set of Projects related to Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering. These projects will be focused primarily on manufacturing process improvements for cost reduction and/or efficiency improvements activities.
The internship position is designed as a part-time position with flexible hours in order to accommodate a candidate who is currently attending classes at a local university. Full-time hours are available in the summer months. The ideal candidate will have at least sophomore standing and have already completed core engineering coursework in areas of mechanical or electrical engineering. Qualifications Applicant must qualify for access to U.S. export-controlled technology without a license. Non-immigrant visas will not be sponsored for this position. Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident, or designated a refugee or asylee under U.S. law.
Basic Qualifications:
* Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program
* Minimum completion of at least 30 credit hours
* Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident
* Must hold a minimum 3.0 GPA
Education Must have at least a sophomore status in an accredited engineering program in mechanical engineering
