Position : Assistant Store Manager, Visual
Job Purpose:
The Assistant Store Manager of Visual oversees window displays, weekly mannequin updates, and seasonal displays; trains staff on current trends and fashion; and sensors previous weeks' outfits.
Deliverables:
Drives sales by managing the execution of visual display through effective planning, prioritization, and communication.
Leads team to identify and execute visual decisions to maximize business opportunities per the brand strategy.
Ensures that the merchandise team and store leaders are trained to maintain visual presentation and brand standards, as well as understand how to identify and execute replenishment priorities during their shifts.
Actively participates in store walkthroughs with Store Manager, District Manager, and Field Visual Manager to ensure the consistency and quality of merchandising and visual execution.
Installs and removes window presentations including propping, mannequins, fashion, and lighting.
Builds store promotional displays and styling moments as indicated per visual floor set direction.
Maintains an eye for detail with regard to design, composition, and merchandising.
Creates compelling in-store merchandise presentation through product placement and displays.
Ensures service, merchandising, and operational standards are met in accordance with company-defined practices and processes.
Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications :
Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent. College degree or relevant technical or vocational training preferred.
Must have at least 2 to 3 years of retail visual styling experience with prior supervisory or management experience.
Must be skilled in visual styling, coaching and training, sales generation, strategic planning, and customer service.
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to maneuver around sales floor and stock rooms, work with cleaning chemicals, and lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Must be available to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including 2 closing shifts per week and 2 full weekends per month.
