As a Supervisor, Clinical Administration RN, you will have daily oversight of managing a team of nurses who conduct quality reviews for the National Letter Team.  This fast paced position oversees the flow of work and monitoring of workload balances. Working as a liaison between your team and the clinicians and ensuring the appropriate application of all applicable State and Federal laws and consent decrees as well as our Health Literacy and Just Plain Clear language initiatives are followed.
 
 
Ability to work Saturdays and on-call on a rotational basis or as needed to support a Pacific (PST) or Central (CST) Time Zone work schedule
 
Primary Responsibilities:

Needs ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Will be working closely with manager to ensure team and business needs are met
Some flexibility will be needed in working hours to ensure business needs are met
This role will have team members in HI, AZ as well as the Central/Western time zones
Positions in this function include RN roles responsible for providing clinical expertise in any of the following areas:

Clinical Interface/Liaison (clinical problem solver with facilities, providers, carriers; resolution of issues concerning members, benefit interpretation, program definition and clarification)
Clinical Operations Analysis (monitors and analyzes medical management activities; provides analytical support to clinical programs; may perform clinical assessments and clinical audits)
Clinical Training (planning, coordinating, delivering and evaluating clinical training)
Clinical Writing (writing nursing tools and reference information to support the design of clinical products and services)
Coordinates, supervises and is accountable for the daily activities of business support, technical or production team or unit
Impact of work is most often at the team level
Requires current unrestricted RN licensure in applicable state

Requirements


 Required Qualifications:

Active and unrestricted RN licensure in applicable state
2+ years of clinical nursing experience
3+ years of experience supervising direct reports to include scheduling, overseeing work flows, and providing feedback on performance
Efficient in e-mail and communications internally and externally
Knowledge of clinical case review
A working knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare guidelines and regulations
Ability to work Saturdays and on-call on a rotational basis or as needed to support a Pacific (PST) or Mountain (MST) Time Zone work schedule
Preferred Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree
Supervisory experience in a healthcare/health provider setting
Knowledge of NCQA regulations
Managed Care or experience working for a health plan
