Delaware North in 2014 took over food and beverage operations at Boise Airport -- adding several local concepts to the airport's lineup, including Parilla Grill, 13th Street Bar & Grill, River City Coffee, Bardenay, along with Einstein Bros Bagel, Smashburger, Cross Grains Brew Pub, and Harvest & Grounds.

A successful candidate would be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and a TSA background check (no felonies), have open availability, and reliable transportation. Must be 18 or over. 

The Opportunity

GENERAL SUMMARY:

 

To assist the managers in unloading products, storing products and delivering products orders to the various outlets. This position will also be responsible for all areas of restaurant equipment repair and maintance. To help the management staff to maintain adequate inventory levels and perform assigned tasks to help maintain operational standards, in accordance with Company’s GuestPath Universal Service Standards, and with the company's policies and procedures.

Essential Functions:

  • Delivers stock to all locations throughout the facility and stocks stores as required, in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Responsibilities of maintance include but are not limited to -- adjusting, aligning, assembling, calibrating, inspecting, lubricating and testing of commercial restaurant prep equipment.
  • Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical and electronic problems.
  • Maintain the cores in proper order by store locations and ensure transfers are done correctly.
  • Accepts  deliveries and empties pallets
  • Stocks product in core storage areas, ensures that inventory levels of supplies are maintained.
  • Reports all needed repairs to the supervisor.
  • Keeps work area and equipment neat and clean.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Assist in scheduled inventory process.
  • Overtime and on-call duty as required

Non-essential Functions:

  • Cleans-organizes core store room areas as assigned.
  • Empties trash containers and delivers trash to appropriate dumpsters if needed

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Must be able to read the product and delivery orders.
  • Must have simple arithmetic skills.
  • Knowledgeable of warehouse equipment and tools.
  • Knowledge of general restaurant maintance.
  • Paint, changing of lightbulbs, plumbing, electrical, 
  • Load/Unload products in a quick, efficient and safe manner.
  • Ability to reconcile purchase orders vs. packing lists.
  • Must be pleasant, courteous with ability to adhere to the Company’s GuestPath Universal Service Standards
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Be organized, accountable and self-motivated
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others, as well as independently when required.
  • Ability to read and interpret delivery forms and purchase orders
  • Basic math skills for counting inventory
  • Ability to follow job procedures and supervisor instructions

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift/move/maneuver up to 100 lbs.
  • Climbing up to 8FT with a ladder
  • Ability to pull heavy carts of stock throughout facility
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting and reaching, pushing and pulling, during entire length of shift
