We are currently looking for a Part Time Sales & Service Associate/ Valet Attendant to join our team. 

Available Shift: 1:00pm/5:30pm Monday through Friday and possibly Sunday.

Pay Rate: $10hr

 

GENERAL SUMMARY: Sales & Service Associate/Valet Position

 
First point of contact for Park ‘N Fly customers; Greet incoming customers while selling PNF’s ancillary services such as Car Wash Car Rental & Oil Change.

  1. In a Self-Park Facility: Ensure proper flow of van traffic into and out of Ground Transportation, assist with baggage, and radio key numbers to dispatch in double parking/valet scenarios. 
  2. In a Valet Facility: determine the customer’s parking preference and offer other services, inspect vehicles for damage and record condition, account for and secure vehicle keys for customer, coordinate vehicle pick up by Runner/Valet.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:                                                            
 
People (Nurturing High Performance)
  • Explain the added value of PNF’s Anicillary Services and sell these products to meet goals.
  • Communicate with cashiers, valet runners, key room attendants, drivers and car parkers, via two-way radio and/or intercom to provide service in particular areas of the parking lot.
Process (Developing Operational Excellence)
  • Explaining the service process to customers to meet sales goals.
  • Greets incoming customers, get pertinent information for valet or double-parking procedures and communicate further actions required of the customer in a clear and concise way.
  • When valet parking and taking the customer’s keys, checks vehicles for existing damage, points out to customer and marks on the envelope/key tag. 
  • Maintains and ensures efficient operation to provide three to five minute service to incoming customers by direct communication with the van drivers and car parkers.
  • Use strong, clear and concise communication skills when interacting in person with the public and when using the two-radio radio.
  • Be flexible with work shifts/hours, including overtime, to service late flights, peak volume periods, vacated shifts, and other emergency situations.
  • Follow all Company work rules and procedures as set forth in the Operations Policies and Procedures Manual and through management’s instruction.
Profit (Customer Service and Revenue Management)
  • Contribute to the profitability of the Company by meeting and exceeding ancillary sales goals, closely monitoring vans and ensuring customers service expectations are met to capture their repeat business.

  • Flexibility to occasionally move and lift bulk items up to fifty (50) pounds.
  • Upper and lower body mobility sufficient to raise arms overhead, stretch, reach, turn, bend, walk, and climb stairs required..
  • Required to stand up to four hours uninterrupted. 
Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:
  • High School diploma or equivalent degree preferred.
  • Minimum of three years driving experience and/or customer service experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Working Conditions:
  • Traffic, noise, extreme weather. 

GENERAL SUMMARYValet Position

Greets arriving and departing guests, offers ancillary services to customers upon arrival (where applicable), parks and retrieves guest vehicles in a safe, timely, courteous manner; and provides luggage assistance for customers whenever necessary.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
• Drives customer vehicles to and from the entrance staging area and parking spaces.
• Safeguards contents and secure vehicle. Record parking location and transfer keys to the key office.=
• Performs other job related assignments as required including but not limited to assisting customers and/or drivers with luggage.
• Ensures customer service expectations are met to capture repeat business.

Foundation Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:
• Concentration to detail, mental alertness, common sense to prioritize, and keen attention to security access.
• Ability to drive various vehicle types with either an automatic or manual transmission.

Physical Demands:
• Work involves walking at a fast pace or running.
• Constant squatting and bending while getting into and out of vehicles.
• Flexibility to move and lift bulk items up to fifty (50) pounds.

Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:
• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• At least two (2) years as a licensed driver with a clean driving record (no more than 3 moving violations in the past three years).
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
