Job Description

Facilitate and expedite the flow of materials to and from various departments. Deals directly with vendors to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of goods to appropriate locations. Inspects goods upon delivery to verify delivered goods match order specifications. Handles any delivery inconsistencies or delays. Requires a high school degree and 2-4 years’ experience. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Qualifications for Shipping Coordinator Position:

• Experience in the following: Carpentry, wood working, cabinetry, sanding and mill work, Auto Body Painting, etc.

• Previous warehouse/manufacturing experience

• Physically able to push, pull, and twist up to 80 lbs.

• Ability to stand and work for 8 – 12 hours per day

• Willingness to work a set schedule/shift; ex: 1st or 2nd shift, or 12/hr day weekend shift

• Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail

• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and a criminal background check
