About this job
* B.Sc or MS with 3+ year's relevant experience in analytical chemistry
* First-hand experience in solid phase extraction (SPE) and QuEChERS methods
* Comfortable with general chemistry lab practices
Lab environment working mainly in a regulated environment wearing protective equipment. Working on their feet most of the time.
* Experience in isolation and detection of allergenic and carcinogenic dyes, pesticide, steroids and other illegal chemical compounds in food or herbal medicines.
* Experience in Raman spectroscopy and SERS-Raman techniques
* Knowledgeable and familiar with detection of food-borne microbial pathogens is a plus
* Knowledgeable in LC technology and its associated column development is a plus
* Knowledge of liquid handling in compact fluidic or microfluidic devices is desirable
Mon-Fri Shift between 8AM-5PM
