This community hospital is actively looking for a highly skilled Employee Health Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant to oversee the Health and Wellness of a brilliant team of hard working healthcare professionals.

Reporting to the Manager of Employee Health Services, the Employee Health Nurse Practitioner will work side by side with an additional Nurse Practitioner, LVN’s and MA’s, overseeing the overall well being of the hospital's employee. The Nurse Practitioner of Occupational Health will be responsible to assist in creating a well rounded health and wellness program for the hospital.

The Employee Health Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant will need to be well versed in administering immunization, suture, wound care, ophthalmology, and Orthopedics. The Occupational Health NP will be required to frequently procure blood draws and administer pre-employment screening drug tests. The Employee Health Program Nurse will work with employees to determine fitness for duty, health and safety and disability.
