A large medical center in the greater Seattle area, known for their award winning services and cutting edge technologies is looking for a staff nurse to join their Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for the night shift.
The NICU is a level III 32 bed unit that is staffed around the clock with specially trained neonatologists, nurses and respiratory care practitioner. The Childbirth Center at this acclaimed hospital is a center of excellence for perinatal medicine and is Mother and Baby Friendly. The RN Staff Nurse will provided specialized patient care to neonatal babies needing medical treatment. The NICU nurses are highly trained and extremely caring. The unit works very well together and seeks a staff member who works collaboratively and positively.
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nurse will report to the NICU Manager. The NICU RN Charge Nurse will ensure patient care is at its finest at all times and educate parents on the care and status of their newborn babies. There are charge nurses in place that will assist with staff development and scheduling.
The ideal candidate for this busy and cutting edge unit will be an experienced neonatal nurse who has a passion for the NICU. This is an excellent opportunity to join an amazing hospital that prides itself on its compassionate and dedicated service to the community.
