Project Manager-Commerical Construction

Aerotek is looking for an experienced construction project manger for one of our reputable clients in Nashville, TN.

Candidates will be responsible for all aspects of project management, from material and labor estimates, basic design, bid submittals, follow-up, job set up, project scheduling, project management, job analysis and review through job close out. Candidates must be self-motivated, reliable and ready to work independently and responsibly in a very competitive market.

Must be willing to relocate to the Nashville area.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to manage costs
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Willingness to travel on an airplane
• Must not be afraid of heights
• Ability to make take-offs
• Ability to read blueprints/drawings
• Must be computer proficient
• Must have planning and organizational skills
• Must have effective written and oral communication skills
• AutoCAD experience is a plus
• AutoCAD glass or panel experience is a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform key role in project planning, budgeting and specification of resources needed
• Develop the objectives/goals of projects and direct team members
• Manage project budget to ensure expenses are minimized
• Perform onsite field measurements
• Track equipment, tools and other related expenses on job site
• Manage daily activities of projects ensuring overall project schedules are met
• Stay in close communication with shop and field team members to ensure milestones are met and prepare for potential problems
• Co-ordinate all efforts in the project including architects, consultants, suppliers contractors, subcontractors, owners and laborers
