Assist Seniors in their OWN homes in Edina, Eden Prairie, Bloomington, Richfield, and S.Minneapolis.
Home Instead Senior Care is looking for professional, caring and compassionate CAREGivers to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.
CAREGiver opportunities include:
*PT Weekday and Weekend Hours - Currently looks for hours during any part of the day and awake/asleep overnights! Work the hours that work best for YOU without the worry!
Opportunities within Edina, Bloomington, Richfield, Eden Prairie, S. Mpls.**
CAREGiver duties include, but are not limited to:
- Companionship and conversation
- Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Incidental Transportation
- Assistance with grooming and bathing
- Assistance with toileting and incontinence needs
- Assistance with ambulation
- Dementia and Alzheimer’s Care
*Personal or Professional experience preferred- skills training provided by Home Instead Senior Care*
Requirements to be a CAREGiver:
- Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
- Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
- Hold valid driver’s license, own vehicle with valid auto insurance
- Possess fluent English language skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to lift, push, pull or carry up to 80 lbs. infrequently
