Supervising Coordinator Central Processing Unit - Full-time / Part-time

A exciting non-profit Northern California 240 bed hospital is looking Sterile Processing Supervisor.

Under the direction of the SPD Manager, the Supervisor of the Sterile Processing Department (SPD) provides for the delivery of efficient and effective sterile processing for designated area(s). The Certified Sterile Processing Supervisor will help the manager ensures that the processing service provided is consistent with established national, state and medical center standards and that it is provided in a safe, appropriate and cost-effective manner.

The SPD Supervisor will evaluate, maintain, and improve quality control systems while developing a cohesive team, mentor supervisory staff, and ensure technical competency across all position levels. The Coordinator of Perioprative Sterile Processing will be assisting the SPD Manager, in addition to planning, directing and monitoring of unit operations, monitor fiscal year departmental budgets of non-salary wages, expenses and capital equipment in the OR.

The Supervisor will play a key role in the development, implementation and monitoring of departmental policies and procedures which support the organizational goals and business objectives. The Central Processing Manager is responsible for coordination of all central service staffing including: par level management, order placement, product requisition fulfillment, and inventory management for both medical and non-medical inventory
