Ø Summer semester internship dates: May 22, 2017 – August 11, 2017 (12 weeks)
Ø Hours: Will vary by department needs (40 hours/week ideal)
Ø Pay: $12 per/hour for undergraduate students
Ø Must be a current student in an undergraduate degree program
Responsibilities:
- Track daily cash deposits of several individual units using multi-bank file against recorded daily sales
- Track daily credit card submissions of several individual units using merchant reporting against recorded daily sales
- Notify unit and subsidiary Finance of variances above policy threshold
- Analyze multiple platform fee structure and ensure DN is being charged correctly
- Provide analysis/notification within given timeframe
- Upkeep of debit block file to ensure all vendors are listed
- Opportunity to interact with all subsidiaries, Controllers, GMs, VPs and Directors of Finance
Requirements:
- Enrolled in an Accounting, Finance or Sport Management Bachelor's degree program
- Microsoft Office with strength in Excel
- Perceptive analytical ability
- Excellent Communication Skills (both oral and written)
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in fast-paced environment
