AEROTEK is seeking a File Clerk to join their Front Office team in Dulles, VA (situated between Ashburn, VA and Sterling, VA). AEROTEK's client is a leader in the automotive industry so the incumbent of this role will be filing documents related to the vehicles that the client is working with.

Job Overview:

This position will involve calling various clients or different partners within the industry to gather information on vehicles that are on the lot, vehicles that have been sold, and vehicles that are being shipped to the lot. On a normal Monday the primary responsibility is entering information from online vehicle sales that came in over the weekend into the internal database (electronic data entry). On a slow Monday there will be about 60 sales that need to be entered and about 120 on a busy day. On Tuesdays the primary responsibility is placing outbound follow up calls for vehicles that are on the lot that do not have titles on file in order to try and track down the titles to prepare the vehicle for sale. Usually that will consist of 40-50 calls and then they will follow up again on Friday with anyone that is not successfully contacted. Each week the incumbent of this role will assist the Front Office Manager with a weekly check reconciliation where they will go over all of the payments they have received that week to verify that they have all of the right checks matched up with all of the right transactions. They will also assist the Field Operations Manager with a monthly project where they have to scan all of the titles for their vehicle inventory which requires them to spend several hours scanning documents. There will also be various administrative duties such as serving as a back up for incoming and outgoing packages if the receptionist isn't there, processing payments at the front office counter (which there will be training on), and utilizing 4-5 different proprietary databases for accurate data entry.

Qualifications:

Prior experience in one of the following positions or a similar position: Data Entry, Administrative Assistant, Customer Service Representative (Call Center Environment), Automotive Sales & Customer Service, Automotive Service Writer, Automotive Tags & Title, File Clerk, or experience working for an auto retail store such as Advance Auto Parts.

  • Candidates must be able to operate Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Candidates must be able to communicate effectively with customers over the phone.
  • Candidates must be willing to submit to a background check and drug test.

Logistics:

Pay: $13.00 (Growth opportunity to an Account Coordinator within 12 months is expected. Account Coordinators are paid $15.00-$17.00 per hour.)
