Community & State Encounter team has oversight of complete, timely and accurate encounter submissions to state partners. This includes working with health plans and states on process improvements, implementing new requirements and analyzing current production results. Primary Responsibilities:

Analyze, review, forecast, and trend complex data
Present analysis and interpretation for operational and business review and planning
Support short and long term operational / strategic business activities through analysis
Develop recommended business process solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes
Work with the IT Dept. to pull claims and create reports
 

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Health Administration
4 years of experience in business / finance analysis
4 years of experience in data analysis
Intermediate level of proficiency with Excel and Access
 
Preferred Qualifications:

Working knowledge of relational databases, database structures (experience with SQL)
Claims experience
Excellent communication, time / project management, problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills
Ability to problem solve including multiple priorities and research conflicting and / or inaccurate data
Ability to communicate analysis including trends and opportunities to clients and the business in writing and verbally
