Supports the business group by providing senior-level business support, including: partnering with the Sr. Manager for day-to-day management of the team and general leadership of key business initiatives and programs. May manage the development and implementation process of products and/or services. Coordinates team or cross-functional teams, focused on delivering new or upgrading existing products. In addition, this role plays an integral role in the development and maintenance of the Customer Care Metrics program. Incumbent will be an active member of enterprise-wide Care specific project teams. This role is ultimately responsible for planning metrics program changes as well as addressing metrics-related employee pain points. They own the front line readiness of all metrics-related projects and initiatives and work cross functionally with cross functional teams and senior level business owners to ensure alignment on metrics program changes.

Minimum Required
  • 5+ years experience in organizational programs, contract management, or related area.
  • 2+ years of supervisory or program management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and implementing medium to large programs, including identifying, maintaining, and/or adjusting the cost, scope, and resources, managing vendors, and overseeing the formal planning, tracking, and reporting of program performance.
  • 2+ year experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently. Self starter.
  • Strong program management skills and knowledge of best practices.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills (oral and written).
Essential Functions
  • Program management: develops project plans and schedules and provides budget oversight, and re-evaluates and adjusts as necessary.
  • Meeting management: responsible for organizing, facilitating, and ensuring follow-up actions are complete.
  • Leadership: provides clear direction to team members and clarifying roles/responsibilities within the team as necessary.
  • Manages contracts and vendors: acts as a liaison between Management and vendor/partners on contract development, execution and vendor management.
  • Project management: creates and manages project teams and cross-functional teams supplying statistical and status reporting on completed programs to Sr. Manager and appropriate stakeholders (internal and external). Works with other program managers and management to identify and address cross-project dependences.
  • Continuous improvement: Brings changes and suggestions from each program and sub-program to help improve and develop best practices. Manages change within the programs and evaluates risks and assesses potential impacts on program delivery.
  • Decision making: includes the Sr. Manager and working team in formulating decisions but should accept accountability for the decision, provide an honest assessment of the project relative to current and future cost, proactively acknowledge the time to advance the project to the next stage and when to recommend termination.
  • Influencing: makes sure everyone is aware of what's happening, what's next, and rallies the team as necessary.
  • Communication: keeps everyone informed of key developments, program decisions, issues, and changes to the project and the project plan.
