SAP Senior Business Analyst- WM - Full-time / Part-time

BASIC PURPOSE: Responsibility for optimization of systems and processes throughout their lifecycles from Analysis thru Design, Implementation, Execution and Innovation.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform activities for implementation and improvement projects and production support for Warehouse Management (WM) related processes and solutions
• Contribute to the design, configuration and ownership of Love's SAP WM solution (WM/IM/MM)
• Understand integration points between WM  and other SAP modules and external solutions
• Elicit, communicate and manage internal and external customer requirements
• Work with business resources to understand needs, document solution requirements and coordinate with technical team for solution design
• Collaborate with other team resources in related functional areas to deliver solutions (Finance to Manage, Order to Cash, Transportation, Procure to Pay) and technical teams (Basis, Security, Development)
• Understand technical architecture and use of solutions such as Process Orchestrator, Gateway, Cronacle and Fiori
• Provide assessment of solution options with associated business and technology impact, along with estimates for delivery
• Work with IT and business resources to perform testing of solutions, including preparation of test scenarios and scripts
• Log issues and maintain status in ITSM
• Create transports to enable solution changes in SAP using Charm
• Quickly understand business needs and translate that understanding into a form that leads to the creation of better solutions
• Analyze and document as-is processes and systems
• Discover process and system gaps
• Advise business and IT resources on best practices for WM solutions and processes
• Assess and recommend solutions to meet requirements
• Provide input to establishing performance measurements to be able to control and report end-to-end process and system performance
• Adhere to Love's software development life cycle deliverables and practices Contribute to and maintain best practice process management approach for Business and IT
• Perform feasibility studies/solution reviews
• Understand and ensure that quality standards are met
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and drive to completion
• Other duties assigned as needed

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree required
• Experience:
  • 7+ years directly related experience designing,  implementing and supporting SAP WM, MM and IM  processes and solutions
  • Knowledge of  SAP Sales & Distribution, SAP Transportation Management  and Vertex preferred
  • Experience with Fiori preferred
  • Experience with OpenText Vendor Invoice Management preferred
• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship

 

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Skills:
  • Knowledge of SAP ECC 6.0, Fiori applications, OpenText VIM, ITSM/Charm, Business Intelligence, data warehousing, application and design integration, SOA, ABAP, web services and workflow/process automation
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of tools, including MS Visio
  • Knowledge of Winshuttle or LSMW
  • Strong Problem assessment/analytical skills
  • Capable of thinking of the big picture and navigating through an ambiguous environment
  • Ability to work within resource and time constraints
  • Ability to manage 200+ emails per day
  • Ability to manage numerous competing demands in an extremely high stress environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Typical Physical Demands:
  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
• Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
• Requires normal range of hearing and vision
