One of our clients in the Orlando (College Park) area is hiring Customer Care Specialist to join their company for a long term opportunity.

Duration: 3 month contract-to-hire

Pay Rate: $13/hour

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8AM-5PM OR 9AM-6PM OR 10AM-7PM

Job Description:

Act as the primary point of contact for all inbound phone and email customer inquiries regarding order/shipment status, returns, credits, expediting shipments, invoicing, preparing new order/product quotes and answering general product information questions.Interact with customers, sales and operations to meet or exceed customer expectations. Specialists will be supporting 31+ Customers.

  • Review Open Order report on a daily basis and make proactive outbound calls to customer to inform them of order/shipment status, around 35 orders per day.
    Provide accurate quotes (pricing) to customers.
  • Invoice daily (as applicable).
  • Handle product information inquiries from customers.
  • Suggest alternative products or services and provide technical information to meet customer needs.
  • Collaborate with sales and product engineering when applicable to find the best solution to the customer's needs.
  • Operate computer/database (CRM) to receive and extract customer information, and/or refer to catalog to answer customer questions relative to pricing, availability and shipping dates.
  • Prepare and send routine follow-up correspondence related to returns, order status, credits, etc.
  • Follow Customers Service Level Agreements (SLA's)
  • Contact appropriate department to trace or expedite lost or delayed shipments.
  • Filing paperwork and invoices (if applicable).
  • Communicate to manager(s) of any problems, deviation in lead times, or special requests of customers.
  • Employee takes approximately 20-30 calls per day along with email transactions.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of customer service (ideally in manufacturing, retail or distribution)
  • Familiar with CRM software (Salesforce, SAP, Quantum, etc.)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel especially
  • Organized, detail oriented, and strong problem solving skills.
