Providence is calling a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) (Home Health, Day Shift, 1.0 FTE - Fulltime) to Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
* Work Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
* Act as an advocate for patients in maintaining choice, independence, privacy, dignity and security.
* Provide appropriate patient care as directed by the licensed nurse.
* Assist in providing care and implementing delegated activities of the nursing plan.
Required qualifications for this position include:
* High School diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED)
* Current Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC) licensure in Washington State and/or Oregon State
* Current Basic Life Saving(BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
* Must be a licensed driver in state of residence
* Must have reliable transportation and proof of current insurance
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
* Prior Home Health experience
* Prior work experience in a hospital
