Position Summary:

Successful candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills as they are responsible for technical support of all Firestone and GenFlex roofing systems in the assigned region. This position includes a company provided vehicle and requires daily travel with overnight stays as necessary.

The ideal candidate must residein theCentral Alabama area. This position will be responsible for supporting a territory that includes the State of Alabama and the Florida Panhandle.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the local Firestone/GenFlex sales representative firms, distributors, and licensed contractors with technical assistance.
  • Instruct and demonstrate the proper application of Firestone/GenFlex roofing systems to contractors, distributors, sales reps, and others.
  • Provide jobsite and in-shop training to Firestone/GenFlex licensed roofing contractors.
  • Inspect Firestone/GenFlex EPDM, TPO, Standing Seam Metal, APP and SBS Modified Bitumen roofing systems for conformance to specifications and warranty standards.
  • Assist roofing contractor, building owner and sales representatives in resolving difficult details or installation issues.
  • Perform investigations on existing warranted roofing systems.
  • Perform roof condition analyses on existing buildings.
  • Other job duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Construction Management or related field and a minimum of 3 years field construction experience

OR

High school diploma and a minimum of 10 year construction experience in a foreman or superintendent role.
