Essential Functions:
* Contributing to a designated project or initiative to meet a KP business objective.
* Report development and analytics.
* Project management - planning, execution, and measurement.
* Learning new applications needed to complete assignments or support the execution of business objectives.
* Job shadowing in other functional areas.
* Performing additional duties as required.
Department Profile:
Membership, Market & Sales Analytics is responsible for forecasting and analysis of Kaiser membership.
Internship Project Summary:
1) Explore MDW/MMSA Datamart Report Migration
2) Develop Adds/Terms/Transfers Database to support forecasting at this level of detail
3) Create Med Center Trend Database to better inform our MCA projections within budgets, LRF and monthly reforecasts
4) Assess our Reforecast process, with focus on our Initial Analysis, and support development of a further streamlined process
5) Create templates to further align the reforecast process in NCAL & SCAL
6) Convert BL Materials to Box (online app to share documents)
Desired Skill Set:
Analytical, problem solver, inquisitive, and motivated. Regression modeling and excel/Access/SAS experience preferred.
Basic Qualifications:

* Pursuing a bachelor's degree or have graduated from an accredited university within the last year.
* High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
License, Certification, Registration

Additional Requirements:
* Aptitude to perform data and process analytics and formulating solutions
* Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
* 3.0 GPA or above.
* Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proven ability to build effective working relationships as well as strong interpersonal skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to learn quickly and experience producing high quality work in short periods of time.
