The Spectrum Health Medical Group hospitalist division was developed for the advancement of patient care, with an emphasis on strong communication with the patients, families and primary care providers. Advanced Practice Providers are a vital resource as they work in conjunction and are fully supported in by division. The goal of the hospitalist team is to increase patient satisfaction, decrease lengths of stay, decrease readmission rates and increase quality of care.
* Flexible Scheduling
* APP Mentorship Program for all new hires allows personalized one on one mentoring and orientation
* 7 - 12 hour shifts per 2 week pay period
* Full time and part time available
* $2,500 per year for CME

* Opportunity to care for high acuity and complex patients
Spectrum Health Hospitalist Services Include:
* Admissions and consults, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
* Ongoing inpatient care, including possible rounding
* Co-admissions
* Coordination of care with all hospital staff, patients and their families
* Communication with the primary care provider at admission and discharge
* Follow-up phone calls from a registered nurse within the first week after discharge

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)\\As appropriate for patient population\\
Preferred Qualifications:
