Position Purpose:

At Floor and Decor our sales associates are the face of the company. Greeting every customer with a smile and friendly face is crucial. Asking open ended questions about a customer’s project in order to determine their needs is all part of our sales process. Our sales associates are also expected to be subject matter experts as it relates to product features and knowing the related items to sell an entire project. Customer service is our top priority at Floor and Decor however when sales associates are not busy with a customer they are expected to assist with merchandising, stocking, cleaning and inventory functions to ensure we have high store standards for our customers shopping experience.

Successful candidates will possess the following:
  1. High School graduate or equivalent
  2. At least one (1) year of cashier or customer service experience
  3. Must possess excellent customer service skills and work well under pressure
  4. Required ability to handle multiple task concurrently
  5. Ability to frequently stand, squat and bend while lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
  6. Bi-lingual Spanish Speaking a plus however not required
  7. Act in a manner that is consistent with the company’s core values.
  8. Demonstrate a thorough understanding and compliance with the company’s safe lifting practices and standard operating procedures.
  9. Ability to pass pre-employment screening of Background and Drug
  10. Must be able to work a retail schedule
