Job Responsibilities:


Responsible for researching and resolving US payroll tax issues, including stock and executive compensation

Assist with insuring proper calculation, reporting and payment of expat payroll related compensation and taxation

Act as an SME for payroll tax questions and issues, troubleshoot when needed-Research errors, determine root cause and make recommendations for on-going process improvements

Perform or participate in special payroll tax projects requiring research and analysis of payroll and taxes

Maintain effective relationships with key internal and external customers and vendors

Collaborate with HRIS, Payroll Operations, Total Rewards and Global Mobility in the support of payroll operations and tax changes

Assist with year-end review and processing of W2?s and W2c?s

Recognize and adhere to proper segregation of duties, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls and internal self-audits

Support of business initiatives as assigned by manager

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

High school education/GED or equivalent experience
Intermediate MS Office proficiency 
Preferred Qualifications:

BA or BS
FPC or CPP
Proficiency with PeopleSoft 8.9, 9.0 or 9.1
Previous experience with multi-state tax and expatriate payroll
Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment and manage multiple projects with hard deadlines simultaneously
Strong analytical, problem solving, query and payroll related technical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
