Position Summary:
Responsible for developing marketing business plans, strategies and programs with the overall goal of increasing qualified leads and interest in company products. Analyze, evaluate and identify appropriate markets and implement effective strategies to increase exposure of company products to those markets. Develop marketing plans to fulfill the long and short term growth and revenue goals of the organization.

General Responsibilities:

  • Manage all product marketing and business development functions. Identify key online, print and other media outlets, generate media content, and effectively measure the ROI of marketing initiatives by measuring valid lead generation against marketing spend. Oversee content, design and optimization of the company website, including SEO, paid search and keyword targeting.
  • Manage and develop other marketing programs and materials such as advertising, event support and online promotions. Analyze impact of marketplace trends.
  • Collaborate with European factories to develop consistent communication materials for product positioning and new product launches. Utilize print, online, PR and trade show outlets to cost effectively deliver those communications.
  • Manage all strategic marketing functions. Perform industry and competitive analyses of the products to determine our position in the market and identify specific strengths or weaknesses. Apply analysis results in development of target market campaigns to leverage the company's strengths or expose competitor's weaknesses.
  • Execute the business development process by working directly with the sales team to identify relevant target accounts, mine data sources for valid contact information within these accounts, and provide relevant website user traffic data to the sales team for awareness of target account activity.
  • Manage the effective day-to-day efforts of the marketing department through regular staff meetings and open communication. Mentor, coach, motivate and guide staff to achieve company objectives. Consider staff concerns, recommendations and issues and make determinations regarding any items in a timely manner. Regularly conduct staff performance reviews.
  • Participate in and assist with the development of company strategies and goals as part of the management team. Communicate management team objectives to marketing staff members.
  • Some travel may be required, including one or two trips to Europe each year.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing
- Engineering Degree a plus
- Must demonstrate strong managerial, analytical, technical and communication skills.

Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years experience in strategic and general product marketing in the technical arena.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in marketing staff management.
