Home Instead Senior Care® is looking for an Administrator and General Manager for our corporate-owned franchise in Abilene.

In this position, you’ll be responsible for successfully directing and coordinating the office operations, which include implementing and supervising the administrative policies, supervising the provision of all service to clients, and monitoring appropriate staffing and productivity.

Administrator and General Manager responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute and analyze the annual operational plan.
  • Achieve the annual operational plan's revenues, gross profit and profitability objectives.
  • Develop and maintain positive and professional relationships with referral sources in the community.
  • Coordinate activities of departments such as finance, staff coordinators, recruiting and retention of CAREGiversSM, client services and networking to affect operational efficiency and economy.
  • Analyze budget to identify areas in which reductions can be made and allocate operating budget.
  • Confer with departments and review activities and operations to determine changes in programs or operations.
  • Direct preparation of directives outlining policy, program or operations changes to be implemented.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
  • Participate and contribute to the development of educational programs offered to clients, prospects, co-workers and CAREGiversSM..

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, or have complete two full years of full time study at an accredited college or university, or a high school diploma or GED and substitute one full year full-time employment in a supervisory capacity in health care facility, agency or community-based agency for each required year of college. College Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Management experience preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and current auto liability insurance. Reliable transportation.
