Inside Sales- Customer Service - Full-time / Part-time

PrideStaff is looking for an Inside Salesperson who is able to cold call, build relationships, produce add-on sales, and support Territory Managers. All functions will be accomplished through heavy telephone usage and will result in new customers and increased sales with existing customers. This is a full time temp to hire position with a well established locally owned company. The salary will be $35,000-40,000 depending upon experience. Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm.

Job Description:

• Conduct cold calls via telephone to prospect for new customers
• Communicate with Territory Managers
• Make calls to existing customers
• Answer incoming calls from prospects and customers
• Provide service that results in customers for life

Job Requirements:

• Experience in telesales or proactive sales/customer service role
• Ability to convey technical product knowledge to general audience
• Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, email and internet use
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Apple Email and Camelot
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic sales techniques
• Ability to prioritize work projects/assignments
• Strong verbal and written communications
• Ability to communicate with groups and individuals
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and with a team
• Demonstrated commitment to company core values;Integrity, Profitability and Customer
• General knowledge of Machine Tool industry helpful, but not required

Key Responsibilities:

• Call 25 to 40 current customers per day
• Answer incoming calls
• Enter orders and quote generation
• Schedule a minimum of 4 appointments per day for Territory Managers
• Success measures based on volume of calls, appointments set and increase in sales from an existing customer
