Job Summary: Locally owned businesses are looking for experienced HVAC Maintenance Technicians to join their growing teams! The HVAC Technician will be responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining heat, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment and controls. Will diagnose problems within systems and perform repairs. Will install, repair and maintain household appliances, and perform minor electrical repairs and sheet metal duct work. Will use tools for tasks such as bending, notching, and forming machines test manifolds, gauges and hoses, leak detection devises, electrical circuit test meters, portable vacuum pumps, as well as piping and fittings of brass, copper, steel, or PVC. Will make adjustments when necessary for heating and cooling systems.
Location: Madison County
Position type: Full-time, evaluation-hire & direct hire
Pay: Based upon experience
Schedule: TBD – immediate start date
Qualifications: Successful candidates will have previous experience as an HVAC Technician OR have recently graduated with an HVAC certification from an accredited institution. Previous experience in residential property preferred. Must have experience repairing appliances and be able to work in uncomfortable environments such as warm/cold temperatures or small/tight spaces.
