Billing Clerk

The Billing Clerk preforms tasks related to financial, clerical, and administrative duties.

This position quickly and efficiently completes and processing orders for billing. This is a temp to hire position for an electrical company in Modesto. They serve large corporations and small mom and pop companies. Great opportunity to become part of a dynamic team.

Billing Clerk job Responsibilities Include:

• Generate and send out invoices
• Answer client or customer inquiries
• Follow up with proper departments to resolve any billing issues
• Follow up email or calls on past due accounts
• Process payments
• Process any adjustments
• Keep client/customer accounts updated
• Pull financial reports
• Any other tasks as assigned

Billing Clerk Job Requirements Include:

• 3+ years of experience in similar role
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in construction industry a plus
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, ect)
• Detail oriented
• Strong organizational skills
• Basic understanding of accounting principles

Billing Clerk Compensation is typically based on experience and skill set in the range of $11-15/hr.
