Bilingual English-Spanish IT Help Desk Support wanted for leading avocado grower / distributor / exporter with operations in the United States and Mexico. This is a full time position in an established company with international reach.

Description of Duties for IT Help Desk Support

Provide initial point of contact for information technology related problems for employees in the United States and Mexico. Assist employees with telephone, email or computer system trouble tickets to resolve or escalate IT systems issues. Sets up and operates computer and machinery peripherals to computer for purpose of providing information to requesting employees.

Minimum Requirements

Strong aptitude in O.S. Repairs, Spyware removal, virus removal, hardware, troubleshooting, and upgrades. Sets up and operates computer and machinery peripheral to computer for purpose of providing information to requesting employees. Work requires knowledge of computer logic and methodology to run computer systems. Work requires ability to read and comprehend instruction manuals in order to make minor repairs to computer equipment. Employee will receive moderate supervision with some on-the job training. After completion of training, employee will receive minimal supervision.High school diploma, college preferred.

  • 1-plus years' experience in a similar role or any combination of education and experience that meets job requirements
  • Must be experienced in Microsoft Windows XP & Windows 7
  • Basic knowledge of Windows Server Active Directory, DHCP, & DNS
  • Experience with Avaya IP office PBX is preferable
  • Bilingual Spanish required
