Job Title: Grinder

 

Location: Farmington, CT

 

Job Type: Full-time

 

Shift Type: 1st

 

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM

 

Total Hours per Week: 40

 

ESSENTIALS DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Run different types of grinding machines.
• Able to do a variety of machine functions including tool room work.
• Set up and operate with machine centers, surface grinders and ID/OD grinders.
• Assist in debugging operating errors.

 

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Knowledge of basic math skills, adding, subtracting, dividing, multiplying.
• Work and be familiar with measuring tools
• Select tools, feed and speed for machining applications
• Knowledge of what tools to use

 

Education: High School or Equivalent
