Prep, prime, paint, rustproof, and decal a variety of fabricated steel components, equipment and customer vehicles
Job Description
- Apply correct painting and preparation techniques
- Operate equipment including: paint pots, mixing station, sanders, etc.
- Achieve a high quality finish while complying with all applicable safety standards.
- Be able to follow verbal and written instructions and to pay attention to detail.
- Use basic auto body repair skills (dent repair, panel replacement, etc.), decal and striping installation, and rustproofing/undercoating systems
- Use basic hand tools (which you will supply) to disassemble and reassemble components before and after painting.
- Extensive knowledge of paints, thinners, solvents, oils, filters, inhibitors, chemicals and masking materials
- The ideal candidate must be flexible, detail oriented and must possess the ability to complete tasks unsupervised, and meet deadlines.
- be able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
- flexibility to kneel, crouch and stand as necessary to complete the job
