Sales Representative

Our client builds machinery for the plastics industry.
They work heavy in the medical, construction, and automotive industries.
Regional Sales Manager:
- This person is going to have a large territory nationwide to support. They will spend 2 weeks in office and 1 week traveling
- In the office they:
80% phone cold calling 20% emailing/linkedin
- generate quotes
- make both follow up and new calls
- they use the CRM, Goldmine
- there is a lot of current customer to sell to.
- looking for someone who is very trainable
- It is a plus if they have extrusion exp or plastics exp but it is not needed.
- They do need to be at least mechanically inclined
- It is really important they are setting up a good week for the travel week, and taking 2 weeks to prepare
Territory make up - 200--400 total companies
60% current customers
40% prospects
5% commission for all new customers

Meetings with Clients-business to business in person
-must be able to adapt from small manufacturing/ automotive company to large corporate healthcare system
-For travel week must have 6-10 meetings scheduled before they go out on the road, will end up having around 20 visits ( meetings) with cold walk ins in territory
