Successful candidates will need to show they can be RELIABLE, PUNCTUAL, FOCUSED, NURTURING and ENERGETIC as well as have a clear sense of FUN!
No teaching experience necessary. Although we teach swimming to all ages and abilities, the majority of our students are pre-school and elementary-aged children so you really have to enjoy working with this young age group and be able to put their parents at ease too. Experience working with children or in a child-oriented business is preferred, although not necessary. If you can still demonstrate the desired attitude that would make you a good fit for our team we'd be happy to hear from you. The position includes at least 40 hours of specialist training in our highly-developed proprietary methodology.
This position is part time depending on your availability.
Schedules are flexible around weekday evenings (3:15pm - 8:00pm) Saturdays or Sundays (9:00am - 2:00pm). A minimum of 8-9 hours from these options, including one weekend morning and one weekday evening, are required. We need you to obtain a Lifeguarding or WSI certification within 90 days of hire if you don't already have one. But if you impress us at interview, we can help you with that!
