Loads inventory into truck, assists in safe operation of vehicle while in transit, and unloads inventory.

  • Pulls inventory from warehouse racks and stages it for loading.
  • Loads product onto the truck, and checks product against contract.
  • Gives directions to helpers (non-skilled/temp labor) in moving, counting, and loading product.
  • Protects product from damage using best demonstrated practices.
  • Loads truck, distributing weight evenly, forming compact load, and utilizing space.
  • Conducts pre-use inspections and services truck.
  • Safely delivers and installs product.
  • Provides customers with friendly and professional service.
  • Communicates arrivals, progress, and issues with Driver, Customer, and Operations Management.
  • Obtains customer's signature to confirm counts on delivery and pickup.
  • Completes paperwork at event site.
  • Cleans and make minor repairs to product.
  • Returns product to warehouse racks.
  • Notify the driver about missing and/or damaged merchandise.
  • Keep the truck clean and organized.
  • Maintain the security of the truck by locking the vehicle when not being loaded/unloaded.
  • Handle phone calls and directions for driver, also responsible for backing the truck and operating in a safe manner at all times.
  • Reads all contract notes prior to start of route and manages precall schedule to the customer.
  • Reports any truck damage or equipment damage to Driver and Operations Manager.


  • Ability to speak, read and write English.
  • Ability to make minor repairs to equipment.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to drive a power truck (e.g., forklift).
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen. As a condition of continual employment must be able to pass all random and post-accident drug tests.
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed to include: long hours, odd hours, and weekends.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Regularly required to stand; use hands handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Frequently is required to walk and climb or balance. Occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to75 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
