Currently seeking a skilled Service Electrician to help a top Electrical contractor in the Charlotte, NC area. This position is a mobile position servicing large commercial buildings and retail centers.
This person will be responsible for the installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of electrical systems.
MUST HAVE:
- 3-5 years documented experience performing Commercial and or industrial installations.
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability and self motivation to manage one's own schedule
- Ability to interact comfortably with customers
- Clear, concise, written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Driver's License
We will consider candidates that have:
- Experience working as a Service Electrician
- NC Electrical Contracting License or Mecklenburg County Journeyman's card
- Familiarity with electrical test equipment and fundamentals
- Experience with Fire Alarm systems installation
- Ability to read and interpret electrical line diagrams and blueprints
- Working knowledge of OHM's law
- Ability to evaluate the operating conditions of equipment
- Standard computer skills including MC Outlook, Word, and Excel
