Line Operator

Are you looking for a Line Operator job opportunity? AtWork is currently working with a notable company in the Knoxville area to find self-motivated and detail oriented candiatates!

$12.57/hr

1: 30pm-12: 00am; Days vary from 4-5 day work week

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Loading/unloading machines
• Training other operators when necessary
• Making adjustments to equipment to ensure
• Maintaining good housekeeping practices
• Using Sulfamic acid, Alkaline 1386 cleaner, Corclean cleaner, and Bonderlube
• Cleaning and recharging tanks
• Being cross-trained on Anneal, Soap, and Clean Operations

Equipment used for job duties:

• Cranes
• Scales
• PH Tester
• Ultrasonic Cleaner
• And other equipment as required

Physical Requirements of this position include but are not limited to:

• Must be able to lift/push up to 50 lbs frequently
• Must be able to stand on concrete for up to 12 hours
• Must be able to regularly bend, kneel, squat, and work in confined positions
• Must be able to work in temperatures corresponding with outside temperatures
• Must be able to be exposed to loud noise, dust, fumes and oils

Qualified candidates will:

• Be punctual
• Have a HS diploma or GED
• Have good mechanical aptitude
• Take a mechanical aptitude test
• Be able to use precision instruments for measurements as well as testing
• Be able to read and follow all MPI and routing instructions
• Demonstrate basic problem solving skills
• Have one year of manufacturing related work (preferred)
• Understand and abide by plant and safety rules/policies
• Be able to follow verbal/written instructions in the forms or routing, drawings, and procedures
