Providence is calling a Home Health Aide (CNA) (Day Shift, 0.6 FTE) to Providence Hospice and Home Care of Snohomish County in Everett, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.

In this position you will:

* Drive throughout your work day to see patients in private residences, adult family homes, assisted living, and skilled nursing facilities within a designated region.

* Provide appropriate patient care as directed by the licensed nurse.

* Provide personal care, assistance with performing activities of daily living and prescribed therapeutic exercises, and basic housekeeping services essential to the comfort of the patient.

* Be proficient using software programs for the maintenance of patient records and communication with team members.

Required qualifications for this position include:

* Completion of certified nursing assistant course or equivalent training

* Current Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC) licensure in Washington State

* Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification

* One (1) year home health/hospice experience as a nurse's aide, hospice aide, orderly OR related experiece in an acute, rehabilitative, or long term care facility, or hospice organization

* Valid Washington State driver's license and insured, reliable vehicle

Our Mission is to improve the quality of life of our community by providing professional, compassionate, quality care, in appropriate settings, enabling individuals and families to manage health care problems and life-threatening illnesses. The wide-ranging care we provide includes the service of physicians, registered nurses, CWCN registered nurse wound care specialists, medical social workers, rehabilitation therapists, home health aides, chaplains and volunteers.

Our Inpatient Hospice Care Center provides a unique alternative to traditional home-based care for hospice patients who need symptom management which cannot be provided in the home. Located at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett, the center serves patients in the hospital and offers the community a complete continuum of hospice care.
